Cassandra Hradil is a recent graduate of Amherst College, where she earned her B.A. in American Studies and Classics. She also received the Five College Certificate in Native American and Indigenous Studies.
A settler scholar of Czech and Russian descent, Cassandra currently focuses on indigenous studies, with particular attentiveness to intellectual traditions, re-mapping geographies, and decolonizing digital technologies. With the help of Five College Digital Humanities, she completed her undergraduate thesis on indigenous video games. Her interests also include queer studies, material culture, and digital humanities work. She hopes to continue writing about indigenous presence in the digital world in the future, and eagerly looks forward to more opportunities to decolonize her mind.
