Sheila Chukwulozie is primarily a Theater&Dance maker whose works have shown in South Africa, Czech Republic and USA. Currently, she is traveling as a Thomas J Watson fellow studying with traditional mask makers and cloth weavers in six countries. Formerly a TEDx speaker, she is also a graduate of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s annual writing fellowship (Farafina) and her most recent written work has been published in The Republic Magazine. Most recently, she worked with Marisa Parham as a Digital Humanities Research/Post-Bac Fellow at Amherst College & the Five College Consortium in Massachusetts. Creatively, she defines herself as an Igbo Cyborg, speaking, dancing, singing and writing her experience of the world to anyone who cares to listen.
