Cassandra is a student at Parsons School of Design, working towards her MFA in Design and Technology. She has a B.A. in American Studies from Amherst College, where she concentrated in Indigenous Studies and worked with the irLh team to complete an honors thesis on Indigenous digital media in the context of Indigenous intellectual traditions. She remains invested in critical technology studies that are attentive to marginalized histories and communities, and is passionate about decolonization, anticapitalism, and queer liberation. Her current design interests also include e-textiles, physical computing, cartography, and game design.
